Guidelines for airline treatment of lithium battery-powered electronic devices in passenger baggage are issued by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). IATA’s current guidelines stipulate the following for portable electronic devices brought aboard a passenger aircraft as either checked or carry-on baggage:

1.The device must have a watt-hour rating of less than or equal to 100Wh.

2.The battery design must have been tested to a test standard referred to as “UN38.3.”

 

Our standard range battery meets both of these requirements and is marked as such.

 

Our extended range battery exceeds 100Wh and therefore cannot be taken on a commercial flight.

 

Although IATA’s guidelines are widely adopted within the airline industry, each airline defines its own regulations. In response to hoverboard safety concerns, a number of airlines have implemented a ban on hoverboards in passenger baggage. Our product is not a hoverboard. Some airlines view our product as falling into the hoverboard category, and others do not. We highly suggest calling the airline prior to travel, especially if you plan to take your board on an international flight.

 

The optimal way to transport the board is to place the board in the box it came in, and check it in as luggage. Many of our customers have also successfully brought the board on as carry-on and placed it in the overhead bins, in the coat closet, or in other available cabin space with the assistance of a flight attendant. We recommend you remove the lithium battery warning sticker on the box when bringing the board on a passenger plane. It is only required for commercial air cargo transport.

Da ist das natuerlich schon cooler. Hat man dann zwar nur ca. 11km (wieso wird hier 5 geschrieben) mit dem kleinen Akku, kann es aber mitnehmen.

Und zu Hause dann den grossen Akku rein :-)

3fach wirds nicht ganz sein wenn ihr 50km schafft und das Boosted 12-14 Meilen (19-22,5km) ;-)

Mir gefaellt der Pop und das Bamboo halt gut. Das gibts bei euch aktuell leider nicht :-(

Wie ist das den mit dem Wasser bei Evolve? und habt ihr schon einen finalen Preis im Streetsetup?

Wie ist den mit dem GT das Bremsen geworden? Stoppt es noch komplett und das auch schnell?

Als Videovergleich kenn ich nur

Aber das ist soviel ich es sehen kann nur ein Boosted Dual und kein Dual+ und auch keine 2nd Generation. Im Titel vom Video steht Dual, im Video selbst Dual+ aber eben noch kein 2nd Gen Boosted.

Daher ist das meiner Meinung nach ein Vergleich von Apfel/Birne

liest sich ganz gut. 50km Reichweite und so.. bin gespannt... Endlich kommt mal Bewegung in den Markt...

Wenn der Preis stimmt tut das mal gut weh im Geldbeutel. Bin gespannt.

Enertion ist fuer mich durch das ganze Gebastel mittlerweile raus. Keine Lust mich hier kuemmern zu muessen.

ich lese schon die ganze Zeit mit. Danke fuers tolle Forum.

Da noch nicht drueber diskutiert wurde und ich seit Ewigkeiten drauf warte:

Das Board gibts nun mit 2 Batterien:

99Wh fuer 6-7 Meilen (darf im Flieger mitgenommen werden)

199Wh fuer 12-14 Meilen

Die Batterien lassen sich nun auch unterwegs tauschen.

Zudem sind nun 80mm Orangatangs verbaut und die Elektronik ist angeblich Wasserdicht.

Vertrieb angeblich auch nach Europa.

Endlich tut sich da nochmal was am Markt.

Urspruenglich wollte ich ein Evolve aber da war mir die Technik gefuehlt zu alt (mag den Motor nicht, zu wenig Power fuer am Berg da mein Arbeitsweg leider 2 Steile Stuecke von ca. 200m laenge hat und das Bremsen finde ich nicht so toll).

Boosted war mir die Reichweite zu gering (hab morgends und abends je 7km)

Enertion klang toll aber ich mag das Carbon Zeugs nicht...

Ich hoffe mal die anderen ziehen ein wenig nach. Ich mag die Decks und die Reichweite von Evolve, aber tauschbare Batterie und mal ein neuer Motor waer schon cool.

Wenns jemand bekommt waer ich ueber einen Erfahrungsbericht sehr interessiert.
