  1. Im loving mine too !!! I LOVE The POWER from this 900 watt motor! And these new electronics work really good.. Im happy with this board. Good job "Andrew" from electroskate.. Just fix the TRUCKS issue and youve got yourself a winner for sure.

  2. I just got the ES-900 i ordered 3 weeks ago. Two days, and two rides on it, and the rear truck is cracked all the way thru. The drive wheel and motor are only being held on by the axle running thru the truck. UNRIDEABLE already. This fuckin blows man. Waited three weeks to get it, and now ill be waiting on a new rear truck from ES to be sent to me. What really sucks is that i only got about a total of 8 miles out of this rear truck. And that 8 miles was just cruising in the street. No reason for the truck to break like this. My old ES-600, the rear truck broke also, but in a differant spot. That one cracked thru the motor mount. This one is cracked all the way thru the truck. I DON"T KNOW ABOUT THIS Magnesium alloy stuff. Something is NOT right though. CAN I USE A DIFFERANT COMPANY'S TRUCKS??? Is that possible, to switch out these trucks with another manufacturer's trucks??? This sucks! Its a freakin gorgeous california day, i should be cruisin the beach strand on my new board! (900 watt motor is sweet tho! actually REALLY quiet, and has a ton of torque. Too bad i can't use it.)

  3. I lot of those bearing use a grease to lube the bearings which can destroy the roll. When you get the board, take the bearings out, take the shell off the bearing and soak them in turps for 20mins. Then get some speed cream (available at a local skate shop) and put the bearings back together and put 1 drop in each bearing to re-lube. This should really improve the roll. Otherwise speak to your local skate shop and see if they can recommend a 10mm size bearing.

I use the evolve Abec 9 Speed balls in my boards - same as the Bones reds. I just regularly clean mine and they last for ages and performance is awesome.

I think you should be able to find a good 10mm bearing, but you might find the ones are already good on your new board hopefully.

I got my new bearings.. I want to clean the grease out of them and replace with the speed cream as you suggusted. What is TURPS though? Thanks!

  4. im waiting on a reply from ES on what rating their stock bearings are. But assuming they are abec rating #1, would it be worth spending the extra money to purchase some abec 3 stainless steel with ceramic balls for $80?? Or even spending $240 for abec 5 stainless with ceramic balls? The size im dealing with makes for some expensive bearings i guess. (10x26x8) I had a hard time even finding these two options.. Thanks for any info. STEVE

  6. Well, the rubber wheels from E-glide i bought, AREN'T going to work. It was actually problems with the size of the bearings. The "good year rubber wheels" have a small starndard skatebaord size bearing hole with an outer diameter of only 24mm and inner axle hole of 8mm.. These ES-sport boards have an axle hole of 10mm. And also the Beargins ES use in their sport boards have an outer diameter of 26mm.. BUT... I didn't know that the Gumbball wheels ES offer, are actually made of Rubber too, not PU... So i placed an order for them instead, and returned the good years.. I may ALSO, have run into problems when i got to the drive wheel as well.. These gumbball wheels, being made of rubber, look sweeeet!! They look much fatter than the good year wheels did, should make for a super smooth quiet ride.

  7. Thanks for the reply. This ES-900 does have a 10mm axle. The "good year Rubber Wheels" that i had intended to put on my new board are just not going to work. Im running into too many size issues aside from the axle size. My goal is to get a wheel that will provide both, good traction for carving, but ultimately obsorb as much of the vibrations and impacts as possible. As of now, im thinking about going with the gumball wheels and ceramic bearings that ES offer. The size of the ES-sport bearings are 26mm in diamteter, 10mm hole, and 8mm deep. Any other suggustions for wheels of this size on the market? Thanks

  8. You are the man!.. That's exactly where i find myself. 10mm hole.. And some other complications with size issues with trying use the "good year rubber wheels" on the ES-sport. So i think im going to order the gumball wheels and ceramic bearings from ES like you suggested. Thanks a-lot for your help.

  9. Craziiieh, thanks for the info on the new electronics! Ill defenately post pictures and give some reviews once i recieve it.

Drakarn, that es 500 sounds sweet! I want to try one of those out in a skate park someday. Don't get me wrong, im not a REALLY good rider or anything, but i did grow up riding skatebaords my whole childhood. It sounds fun though to try that board out on some snake style runs, or big bowls or something. In the middle of the night when NO one is there to see me eat shit of course :) Man, im really glad you have the Altered/Exkates so we can compare this stuff... ($900 statue--LOL!) I was afraid of that same thing happening if i bought one of those tanks. I also recently had the proline 600 V2. So would you say that your es-500 has more power to get you up a steeper incline than your proline 600?? Or does it feel like it at least climbs a small incline at a faster rate than the proline 600? I just couldn't beleive the lack of power my proline 600 had. I tried going up some really WEAK inclines on it, and it just barely craweled up them at like 2-5mph toward the top of these small hills and BARELY got me to the top. But i remember the power in my old x-24, and it pulling me right up some VERY steep hills, with authority! haha. That old board had some serious torque, and thats defenately what im hoping to get out of this es-900. That, and speed of course. And Range too. Shoot, i guess i Want it all!!! Why not man, we pay a shit load of money for these things! Like you said, you find yourself wanting a bit higher top speed, i felt like that on the proline 600 V2. That 19mph just didn't really cut it.. Not that i want to jam at 30mph ALL THE TIME, but its fun to know its there when i want to use it. Same thing with the power and torque. I want to know that i can power up just about any hill on any given ride. How much do you weigh anyhow? Im about 200lbs.

Fellas, im gonna be honest, i can't sleep for shit now. Not since i saw this es-900 a couple nites ago. Im like a freakin 5 year old child the night before christmas right now.. And i still have about a week before i get it... Have a good weekend guys.

  10. Thanks Craziiieh. I went thru an ES 600 a couple years back. It just never worked out for me that time around. It was before they switched, or changed their electronics, and with their old electronics, i had several problems. I eventually had to sell the board as "non operational" and lost a lot of money. BUT, im giving them another chance! I see they have upraded several things including the electronics. I think i even read that the electronics are now a USA design?? Can anyone confirm that? Andrew? Ive also been through several Exkate boards over the years. I started with their very first board, about 10 or 12 years ago when they were a whole differant company. I think the board was called the x-24. I don't know why things went BACKWARDS in thier design lately, but that x-24 board of theirs would pull me up some serious hills, with lots of torque! Now days, their proline 600 (which ive had two of now), will hardly crawl up much smaller hills. In the short amount of time that my ES 600 actually worked for me (about 3 weeks before it wouldn't even turn on anymore) i had way more fun on it than any of the exkates ive owned. AND NOW, with ES offering a 900 watt motor on a street board, with an estimated 25-30 mile range, and still weighing in at about 10 pounds lighter than the exkate board..... I HAVE TO give Elektroskate another try with the purchase of this board! Before this ES-900 popped up, i was about to "TRY" and build my own board.

Drakarn, i live down south from you. Im next to LAX airport. Hows that es-500??? When did you purchase it? Does it have the new electronics? Does the 500 watt motor get you up hills ok? Does it have good ecceleration? Have you by chance been on a recent exkate, just to compare it with? I was thinking that if this es-900 ends up working the way its suppost to, that i would eventually buy that es-500 too. The size, weight, and manuverability of that board look SICK!!!!

Talk with you guys more when i get my board. Sometime next week I HOPE! Ive already purchased a set of e-glide's rubber "good year wheels". They are solid black, hub and tire both, and made of rubber. The rubber is Supposed to obsorb some like 50% more of the vibrations than your polyurithane wheels do. So when i get the es-900 ill try out both types of wheels and let you know how it goes. I want to obsorb as much of the vibration as possible, not only for my own comfert and smooth ride, but to HOPEFULLY protect and prolong the life of these fragile electronics! I even requested to get 2 extra rubber spacers with my order, to put on this board. Elektroskates spacers they use between the trucks and deck, are a thin soft rubber. And with my old es-600, i tried to remove them just to get the hight of the board down a bit, to feel closer to the ground, but AS SOON as i rode it half way down my street, i turned around and put them back on, because it had made a HUGE differance in the amount of vibration that is carried from the ground up through the baord to your feet. So im hoping that maybe by adding a second layer of soft rubber (an extra spacer) between each truck, and the addition of the rubber wheels, that maybe it will reduce the overall board vibration down dramatically, helping to protect the electronics and avoid future HEADACHES with a broken down board.

  11. I just purchased the new ES 900 WATT SUPER SPORT. I'll let you guys know how it is once i recieve it here in California. It sounds Incredible! 900 watts!!! I can hardly wait.. Does anyone else have any reviews on this board or this particular 900 watt motor?
