Für den Reifenwechsel empfiehlt sich eine Reifenschere und Schmiermittel damit das Gummi leichter über die Felge rutscht. 

Für die OneWheel Felge passen die Reifenscheren erstmal nicht, da der Haltering der in der Mitte eingesetzt wird dort keine platz hat aber man kann sich da bestimmt was 3D-Drucken.

Werbebanner entfernt

Es waren zwar nur zwei Bannerplätze, einen oben link über dem Inhalt und rechts oben in der Seitenleiste komplett

und als angemeldetes Forenmitglied konnten man das Forum, seit der Umstellung auf die neue Forensoftware, sowieso schon komplett ohne Banner benutzen.

aber ich habe mich dazu durchgerungen beiden Werbebanner zu entfernen.

Da ich das Internet ohne Adblocker selbst nicht genießen kann war es mir immer wichtig es mit der Werbung nicht zu übertreiben. Pop-Ups, Pop-Unders, Ovlerlays, Text-Links die aussehen wären sie eine Navigationsleiste, automatische generierte Antwort-Posts zwischen den Forenbeiträge die so aussehen als wären Sie normal geschrieben aber nur dazu verleiten sollen die geposteten Affiliate Links zu klicken oder keine Ahnung was da sonst noch so alles an Schindluder getrieben wird; ich sehe all das ja schon lange selbst nicht mehr.

In den Griff bekommen habe ich das erstmal mit einem Pi-Hole der lokalen Netz über DHCP als DNS Server propagiert wird und zusätzlich als transparenten DNS Proxy im Gateway/Firewall für alle DNS Anfragen erzwungen wird. Das heißt alle DNS Anfragen zu öffentlichen DNS-Servern im Internet werden unbemerkt auf den internen Pi-Hole umgelenkt. Und das macht Sinn. Ihr glaubt nicht was da heutzutage so alles einen Satz an öffentlichen DNS Server im Ärmel hat um ganz sicher nach hause telefonieren zu können. Leider wird es nicht mehr lange dauern bis ausgerechnet die Geräte dann Techniken mißbrauchen werden die eigentlich ausgedacht wurden um den Datenschutz zu erhöhen. Besonders DNS-over-HTTPS.

Da die Anfragen verschlüsselt über HTTP laufen kann da weder ausspioniert, verfälscht werden.

Doof wird es wenn der neue Smart-TV seine DNS-Lookups dann auch über HTTPS tunnelt. Dann wars das mit Datenschutz. Nicht nur weil man die asozialen Domains nicht mehr sperren kann weil man nichtmal in seinem eigenen Netzwerk mitlesen kann welche Domains die Kiste abfragen will sondern auch weil man DNS Abfragen nicht mehr zwischen verschlüsselten Webseiten unterscheiden kann. ... Ich schweife ab 😄

Tl;dr die Banner sind jetzt jedenfalls ganz weg ...

ggle Analytics ist bereits komplett entfernt. Ich hatte da eh kaum reingeschaut und falls es doch mal einen Grund geben sollte detaillierter Infos über die Forennutzung auswerten können zu müssen werde ich das über eine lokale Matomo Installation auf eigenem Server machen. Dann bleiben die Daten wenigstens intern und gehen nicht in BigData Töpfe Dritter.

Es ist mal wieder Zeit für neue Serverhardware.

Damit verbunden ist auch das Update des Betriebsystems auf Debian Buster und der Umzug der VMs auf das neue Blech.

Dafür muss ich das Forum und den Shop offline nehmen.

Sobald alles rübenkopiert ist werden die IPs geswitcht und alles sollte wieder so laufen wie vorher.

Ich hoffe die Downtime wird nicht länger als ein paar Stunden sein...
